Our scripture today focuses on the story of Joseph, son of Jacob, and his brothers’ decision to sell him into slavery. In this text, the conspiring brothers describe Joseph as a “dreamer” before they do the unthinkable and ship him off to Egypt. This raises a couple of interesting questions – what do we do with dreamers and what role do dreamers play in God’s great story of redemption?
