A possible weakness in the ‘Shared Convictions of Global Anabaptists’ document is that while it has a lot to say about our love and obedience to God, there’s not very much about God’s love for us. 1 John 4:7-21 is a healthy corrective to this. This week we will explore this passage and try to lay a firm foundation in the steadfast love of God for us – often referred to as God’s ‘amazing grace.’
