Luke 2:22-40

Jesus’ parents took him to the temple to present him there, as was the custom.  What did they expect when they took him to the “House of God” for the first time?  What happens next might have been just as much a surprise as the visit of the shepherds.  It was another thing for Mary to treasure in her heart.  What signs of the kingdom does God give to us?  What are we called to treasure in our hearts?
