The prophet Amos was called by God to deliver a word to the people of Israel. Like most prophets, his words were difficult for the people to hear and required changes they weren’t very eager to undertake. In the closing chapters of the book (Amos 7-9), a series of visions speak to God’s expectations and what will happen if the people don’t respond faithfully. This week, we’ll look at the first three visions found in Amos 7. What did the Lord God show Amos? How might these visions inspire us to live into the life God calls us to?
