Ends are special. An end can mean stopping or quitting, but an end can also mean a goal or purpose – the telos. An end helps us focus on what really matters. Paul’s words to the Philippians and the Ephesians were meant to comfort and encourage them on the day of Christ – an end. What do they say to us today as we face our own ends?
