Gardening makes us humble, because we realize that sometimes we plant stupid things. For years I battled wickedly invasive plants that I put into the ground with my own two hands. Life is like that too; we plant things that have terrible consequences in our lives. The good news is that God is the Constant Gardener, who shows up every day, helping us tend the gardens of our lives.
