In our text from Mark this week, the disciples try to preserve the purity of their group, which Jesus follows up with some extreme examples. One minute, he’s talking about cutting off hands and feet to avoid sinful living. The next, he’s talking about salt and living at peace with one another! As we continue our series, Walking with Jesus, we’ll explore the idea of “who’s in and who’s out” when it comes to following Christ and how we own up to the things we say and do that cause separation between us.
