Scripture: Luke 2:41-52

Today we anticipate the close of one calendar year and wonder what the new year will hold. We will reflect on the story of Jesus visiting the Temple as a 12 year old and the transition this marked for him and his parents. How did they respond to his growing independence? How did he? How do we respond when we are faced with a new beginning?
