Scripture: Luke 24:44-53 & Acts 1:1-11
The Ascension of Jesus proclaims that Jesus Christ is Lord of all, but sometimes it can be hard to hang onto that faith in the face of so much evil in the world. Today’s readings from Luke and Acts remind us of some corporate practices of the church that give us places to meet the risen Lord together and build up our faith.
