In today’s scripture reading, Jesus feeds the 5000. We often focus on the great need of the hungry crowd and Jesus’ shocking transformation of the loaves and fishes. What do we make of the leftovers? How is our faith stretched and strengthened when we reflect on God’s abundant provision?
