This story is peculiar to Luke’s gospel. Zacchaeus had an unusual eagerness to see Jesus,and Jesus responded in an unusual way. This story teaches us about inclusiveness,not judging others,the meaning of repentance and forgiveness. This story makes sense to be recorded by Luke since Luke’s Gospel emphasized themes such as these portrayed in the story of Zacchaeus.
