Faith without works is boring – Paul Cumin

Text: James 2.14-26

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 3.1-4; John 8.25-32; James 2.14-26

Inert beliefs are lethal – they’re a giving up on life, a kind of death. When ideas do not become actions they become corrosive and caustic inside, burrowing into our souls and diminishing our ability to live fully. Authentic faithfulness, on the other hand, brings wholeness and vibrancy to life – and this is what James wants for followers of Jesus.
