Text: John 21:1-19

After Jesus’ resurrection, He walks along the Sea of Tiberias and meets his friends in surprising and unexpected ways.  Jesus guides them in achieving a miraculous catch of fish, eats breakfast with them on the beach and asks Peter a puzzling (and repetitive!) series of questions.  What would it be like to meet Jesus after the painful experience of witnessing His death and burial?  How did the disciples respond?  How will we respond?  We will reflect on the complexity of encountering the Risen Lord and the challenge of answering Jesus’ question to Peter, “Do you love me?”
