This Sunday, we continue our Living the Anabaptist Story series. We’ll consider the fifth shared conviction of Mennonite World Conference (which focuses on peace-making, justice-seeking, and enemy-love) alongside the opening words of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5. How do we experience the blessing of Jesus’ words when the situations he names are so challenging? How can we live lives characterized by peace, justice, and love when so often our day-to-day experiences are filled with sadness, hunger, and rejection?

Matthew 5:1-12
