The state of refugee sponsorship
In this episode of “Relief, development and podcast” we’re talking about refugee sponsorship with Kaylee Perez, MCC Canada’s migration and resettlement associate. She talks about how relationships between people from different cultural backgrounds can be powerfully transformative. She also shares what the work of sponsorship has been like during the pandemic, and how Canadian government plans for Ukrainian refugees are a departure from the norm.

Even as donors share their love by helping families eat, they receive love back with a story of a family who has been helped by a gift like theirs, plus a recipe from that family’s region!

International efforts support Ukrainian wartime ministries
As the Russian military’s invasion of Ukraine shifts to attacking civilian noncombatants instead of military targets, Anabaptists around the world are working to send assistance to Ukrainian church workers struggling to help their neighbors.
