The Great Winter Warm-up is a way to give the gift of warmth through a comforter. Help us meet our goal of donating 7,000 comforters before March 31 and give the gift of warmth to those who need it the most. Book Launch and Discussion | The Service of Faith: An Ethnography of Mennonites and Development – You are invited to a roundtable discussion with author, Dr Philip Fountain on Tuesday, March 25 at Marpeck Commons by 7:00 PM. Te Deum Singers present Songs of Joy, featuring Beethoven’s Hallelujah, excerpts from Handel’s Messiah, Rutter (of course) and spirituals. Conducted by Diana Wiens, accompanied by Loretta Dueck and guest musicians, these concerts will raise your spirits in anticipation of Spring. All are welcome to the concerts which take place on Saturday, April 5 at 7 pm and Sunday, April 6 at 2 pm, in the Sanctuary. Admission is free with donations gratefully received to cover costs.

The 27th edition of the Edmonton Prayer Breakfast is taking place this spring on Thursday, April 3. King’s University
King’s University Admissions is hosting Spring Open House on March 22, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at The King’s University. This event is an excellent opportunity for students to visit King’s, explore programs, chat with professors and current students, and get a feel for life as a student here. We also offer free applications for King’s University at this event.
2025 Outdoor Way of the Cross
Good Friday, April 18, 2025 at 10am. Hosted at Sacred Heart Church (10821 96 Street). The 45th annual Outdoor Way of the Cross invites people to think about the relevance and importance of the Gospel message in our world today. This year’s theme, “Walking Together in Hope,” is based on John 3:18: “Let us not love (only) with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
The walk will take place along the streets of Edmonton’s inner city. It will include five stations, and each station will offer a reflection on an aspect of the overall theme that highlights both a challenge and a source of hope, woven together with music. People of all faith traditions are welcome to attend. The 1.5-kilometre walk is reasonable for most ages and ability levels. Free street parking is available near the start location at Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples (10821 96 Street). A light lunch (soup, bannock, coffee and tea) will be provided at Sacred Heart Church after the final station. Donations of non-perishable food items for local food banks are also welcome and can be dropped off at the start of the walk. For more information, click here.
