Improving garden yields after hurricane Ana in Malawi. A thank you message from Eliza Mchenga, a married mother of 4 children, a lead farmer in a climate resiliency/food security project in Malawi through MCC partner Brethren In Christ Compassionate & Development Services (BICC). Lead farmers are training their communities in conservation agriculture, a method of cultivation that helps to renew and restore the soil while also increasing food security. As part of the project, lead farmers received seeds, agricultural training, and bicycles.
