In the Community
Mennonite Central Committee
A virtual space for Indigenous art: As part of MCC’s ongoing work towards reconciliation between Indigenous and settler peoples, MCC has curated this gallery space featuring photos of artworks by Indigenous artists on the theme of Transforming Relationships. You can read more, view the gallery and read about the artists online!
Go!100: Have you joined the fun? It’s not too late to jump in with your own 100 themed challenge to raise funds for relief, development and peace through the work of MCC. Learn more at mcc.org/abgo100.
SALT Update: Three young adults from Alberta will be participating in MCC’s SALT program in the coming year. SALTers (young adults aged 18-30) spend a year being immersed in a new culture as they serve a community through one of MCC’s international partners. Please pray for Anjali (Egypt), Micah (Indonesia) and Kate (Nepal) as they prepare to step into their assignments in August.
Buckets of Comfort: MCC Alberta has been blessed with an abundance of comforters and we want to share those gifts. By donating $65, one comforter will be given to the Mustard Seed in Calgary and supplies will be purchased for one Relief kit. Each gift gives twice! Please donate through Cash for Kits online or call the office at (403) 275-6935.
