Radicals and Reformers by Troy Osborne & David R. Swartz. In this new authoritative introduction to Anabaptist history, historian Troy Osborne reflects on the ways that Anabaptists have defined their identity in new settings and in response to new theological, intellectual, geographic, and political contexts. Drawing from current scholarship and a range of written and visual sources, this book provides an overview of how Mennonites from Zurich to Zimbabwe have adapted to or resisted the world around them. King’s Camps: Camps are a great way to keep your kids engaged during the summer holidays. They are also a wonderful place to make friends, develop skills, and explore new interests. 2025: Remembering Zurich & Nicaea. The year 2025 marks 500 years since the first adult believers’ baptisms of the Anabaptist movement took place in Zurich, Switzerland. It also marks 1700 years since the Council of Nicaea, where the Nicene Creed was established as the first ecumenical statement of “catholic” Christian faith. On January 27, from 8-9:30pm ET Bridgefolk Board Member Jennifer Otto, Associate Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Lethbridge, will host a webinar that will provide a brief historical introduction to the events of both Nicaea and Zurich and invite us into conversation about unity and division within the Church. Click here for more information.
