Winter Study Conference: Bridging Divisions with Compassion and Care
Facilitator: Malcolm McKinlay

Our church was established sixty years ago: from its earliest days to the present, we continue to strive to be God’s people, growing through grace to be like Christ, as we learn, love and share with each other. Our congregation is in a season of change – generational change, philosophical change and social change. A challenging aspect of this season is recognizing that congregants may have different views and attitudes on a range of social and institutional issues. Conversations about these issues can be difficult. It is time for us to step back and explore the theme of “Bridging Divisions with Compassion and Care,” to help our congregation and its leaders navigate the important conversations of this season with grace and skill. The LMC Study Conference this year will be dedicated to this end.

Sessions: Friday, Feb. 3, 7:00 pm
                   Saturday, Feb. 4, 1:00 pm
                   Sunday. Feb. 5, 11:00 am
