No Room in the Inn.
Since 1999, No Room in the Inn has led a highly successful cross-denominational Christmas campaign to raise money for housing and housing improvements for those in need. No one in our community should be without safe, adequate housing.

For the 2024 No Room In the Inn campaign, you are invited to support Youth Empowerment & Support Services (YESS) to provide a new roof for their Whyte Ave. facility, originally built in 1911.The roof is in dire need of repair, with ongoing leaks and damage to the building. NRII support will enable it to finally be replaced. Click here to learn how to donate!

Scripture and Song: An Advent Family Retreat

Advent is a time for reflection.  It is a season rich in symbols, music, and verse.  Despite this wealth of inspiration, it is all too easy to be carried away not with the spirit of the season, but with the stress and consumerism that tend to overshadow everything of deep meaning.  Join Providence Renewal Centre and the Edmonton District Council of Churches on Saturday December 14, 2024, to embrace the Advent Season through Scripture and Song.  This is an event for the whole family, with music, storytelling, and fellowship. Click here for more information. Registration deadline: December 9, 2024

Trocadero Orchestra.

We hope to see you at City Hall for the annual Edmonton Arts Council City Hall Swing ‘N Skate Dance! Every Sunday afternoon in January and February, the Arts Council highlights the best bands in the city, as they present dancing in Edmonton’s City Hall, and music streamed to the skating area in Winston Churchill Square. Skates are available for the young at heart, and the Council offers coffee and hot chocolate in the Hall. The event is FREE!
The Trocadero Orchestra featuring Soloist Susan Janzen, is proud to be the opening act for the event: Sunday, January 5th, 1pm-4pm. The Troc was the very first band to be featured when Swing N Skate was first presented over thirteen years ago! We will be presenting our usual dance book: lots of swing, latin, waltzes,
polkas – you name it, we’ve got it! And, our featured vocalist will be Klondike Kate’s Sue Whalen Janzen! See you at City Hall on Jan 5, 1pm-4pm! Click here to view the flyer.
