Canadian Mennonite University
Fall at CMU – CMU’s annual alumni and community gathering takes place Saturday, September 20 from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Highlights include 30+ craft and food vendors, food trucks, activities and the Bubbleman for children, artist workshops, live music, reunions, an evening Song Feast and the MennoCross cyclocross race. Xplore – CMU’s Xplore extended education program investigates dimensions of the Christian faith, our world, and life in it—all without assignments or exams! Consider taking a course on depolarization, Anabaptists at 500, understanding Roman Catholicism, the book of Daniel, the book of Ruth and more. Courses begin September 23. Walk for YESS
Youth Empowerment and Support Services (YESS)’ Youth Support Centre is a 24/7, single-point-of-access to immediate and low-barrier physical, mental, cultural, and emotional health supports and a safe place to stay for youth aged 15-21 who are experiencing crisis in the Edmonton Metro Area. We’re excited to announce the first-ever Walk for YESS—a brand-new community fundraiser happening on Sunday, September 21, 2025 in support of youth in crisis. Rebuild, restore and volunteer with MDS this fall! There are weekly volunteer spaces open in Barrington, NS, from August 31 – October 24.
