Sunday, April 28: No Christian Ed – AGM Part 1
Sunday, May 5: Pastor Kevin will continue his series on biblical non-violence.
Sunday, May 12: Dave H. will expand on his discussion on Paul’s vision for the church.

All ages are welcome to join us for Loaves and Fishes on Saturday, April 27 @ 4:00 pm at the church. We’ll engage in reflective activities, sing and have a potluck together. Questions? Connect with Aimee R.


LMC Youth Group meets on Friday evenings for games, discussion, and fellowship! Fun upcoming events include a cake decorating challenge, making a short film, games nights and meals together. For more information, contact the office or Pastor Kevin.

Welcoming the Stranger: The Poverty Studies Summer Institute is a unique study opportunity that brings together practitioners, students and community members into an intimate learning community to explore the causes and impacts of poverty and best practices in how to reduce and end it.  MCC Alberta will be presenting “Welcoming the Stranger: Theology and Praxis in Migration and Resettlement on May 17 at Ambrose University.

Indigenous Neighbours: The history between Mennonites and Indigenous peoples includes deep injustices. As we grapple with this history, MCC seeks to walk in friendship and solidarity with Indigenous peoples globally. Our program director is available to speak to your congregation or lead a learning experience. Mennonite Disaster Service

Our April edition of On the Level is now available. In this edition, you’ll read about a multigenerational family’s experience at the MDS Family Project in Sauble Beach, Ont. and of a Winkler, Man. church that expanded their community ministry through a grant from the Spirit of MDS Fund. Richard Eaton Singers

Join the Richard Eaton Singers on May 12, 2024 at 2:00 pm for a performance of Mozart’s Great Mass in C Minor, begun by Mozart in 1782 and completed by Robert Levin. The concert will also include works by two contemporary Canadian composers, Andrew Balfour and Zachary Wadsworth. Orchestra Borealis

Orchestra Borealis has a concert on Sunday afternoon, April 28, at 3:00 at St. Andrew’s United Church. Orchestra Borealis is a volunteer community orchestra made up of individuals from all walks of life who happen to enjoy making music. Join them for an afternoon of music including pieces by Gershwin, Schumann, and others!


Mennonite Historical Society of Alberta 

MHSA Spring Conference: La Crete & Low German Mennonite History. All are invited to the Spring Conference in La Crete, AB, from May 30 –  June 2, 2024. Registration for those not riding the bus is $75, including local tours and some meals. For those taking the bus, which picks up in Calgary, Didsbury, Red Deer, and Edmonton, the full cost is $250.
