One of the patterns we see time and again in the early church is that the followers of the Way believed and were baptized. The practice of baptism has been carried on by the church as a sacred ritual ever since. In this season of Pentecost, a time when we tune our senses to the movement of the Holy Spirit, let’s remember our baptisms or contemplate taking this step of faith for the first time!
