Scripture: Isaiah 40:1-11

Waiting is hard work. The age old refrain of children calling from the back seat “ARE WE THERE YET?” expresses what we all feel sometimes. Being patient is difficult and being present on our journey isn’t always easy or comfortable. Advent is a time when the people of God enter into a time of waiting for Jesus’ birth and together we ask, “Are We There Yet?”
