All in a Day’s Work for the Coming Kingdom – Sherri Guenther Trautwein

 March 24, 2024

This week we walk with Jesus as he enters the city of Jerusalem. The crowds are laying leafy branches and coats down on the dusty road to honor his arrival. People are shouting: Hosanna! Blessed be! The Kingdom is coming! There is excitement all around. But, even exciting days come to an end and Jesus, curiously, says nothing to the crowds in this scene. When the hour is late, he looks around, then takes his closest followers and leaves. How does this “triumphal entry” help prepare us for this week of Christ’s passion? How does it help instruct us in life of faith?
