The book of Ruth is a masterful story that focuses on a wide range of human experiences – displacement, loss, friendship, loyalty, uncertainly, hope and so much more. The stories of Ruth and her mother-in-law, Naomi, provide a focus for these themes. This sermon with be the second of a two-part exploration of this book. This week we will reflect on the life of Ruth and where her story fits into the broader story of the people of God.
