Our text this week recounts Jeremiah’s prophetic call and God’s reassurance to Jeremiah that he is not alone – God knows him and will equip him for the task ahead. It is easy to get caught up in our perceptions of our strengths and weaknesses – what we can and can’t do. However, God sees and knows differently, and the story God is writing is bigger than what we can see from a human perspective. As people of faith, what does it look like to embrace this truth and respond to God’s call?
